One of the more underrated players in the Sharks lineup has extended his stay in San Jose for a hefty amount of time. Talented winger Kevin Labanc has signed a four-year extension with the Sharks that will see him get paid $4.725 million on average a season. A very nice payday for a winger who was signed for little to nothing last offseason after a very impressive playoff the year before.

We have re-signed @Str8ToTheBanc to a four-year contract!

Last season, Labanc had 14 goals and 19 assists to bring his total up to 50 goals and 99 assists in his four seasons in the Sharks’ lineup. Labanc is a very solid option for the top-six for San Jose and this extension is a well-deserved pay increase to a player no one has any buzz about. Is this a good deal for both sides? Let us know.
