One of the more under the radar wingers on the market has found a home. After shifting from team to team the last couple of seasons, Vladislav Namestnikov has landed in a spot that has some term. He has inked a two-year contract to go to Hockeytown in Detroit. The contract will see him earn an average of $2 million a season.
UPDATE: The #RedWings today agreed to terms with center Vladislav Namestnikov on a two-year contract.

After being traded to Colorado from Ottawa at the deadline this year, he tallied four goals and two assists in nine games in the regular season. In the playoffs, he tallied four goals and one assist in twelve games. He has a lot of skill and with the young core in Detroit, this seems like a great fit. Stevie Y is killing the offseason so far and I doubt he is anywhere close to done.
